A selection of specialty raw material is used to produce a range of Gunning Refractory.
This material is mixed with water at the nozzle of the gunning equipment to enable easy
placement of castables. This method is very suitable for placement of bulk material in applications where conditions make form work impracticable or too time consuming.
The
temperature range varies from 1400C to 1800C to suit most applications. Gunnings are best suited for hot repairs because they can be installed in large
quantities within a short time.
Application: Gunning is performed using compressed air. Established work procedures already exist to ensure minimal dust generation, high adhesion, high
density, and small rebound losses. We make adjustments to the materials we supply based on work conditions.
